The aim is to propose for a smart integrated land transport system. The Smart Land Transport system will provide a nationwide quality, rapid, efficient and safe transport service network that can ensure sustainable, equitable and uncongested mobility and connectivity in livable cities to support the long term 2035 development goals:
- Meet the national progressive industrialization and commercial growth, including promotion of foreign direct investment in order to achieve economic diversification.
- Accelerate urban and rural development, land optimization, livable cities and communities.
- Enhancing easy and quick mobility and connectivity within cities, between cities and cross border.
- A safe and efficient transportation system which takes into account transportation needs, as well as state-of-the-art technology now and into the future.
